Working with Amazon, we were tasked to find automation opportunities in Amazon’s Seller Central, the platform used by Amazon Sellers to run their business. After conducting primary research, we scoped our focus to business reports. Pushing forward with stakeholder buy-in, we created and tested a wireframe using the RITE method as well as traditional usability test methods. Taking the feedback we got from these tests, we ended up with what we are calling “Report Central,” a one-stop-shop for all the reports and report columns that Amazon has to offer. Report Central addresses the key wants we heard from research by allowing Sellers to create reports on Amazon’s system, meaning the data is always fresh. We also included an easy scheduler to allow for automatic downloads and dissemination of reports.
